Daniel L. Doyle has been practicing law for four decades. During this time, he has worked as a Wyandotte County Assistant Prosecutor and a Missouri Assistant Attorney General. While with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, Dan worked in the Consumer Protection Division, advocating for consumers who were taken advantage of by big businesses. Dan then began practicing at a large firm in Kansas City and continued working for one of the successor firms following a division of the firm. There, he worked as a partner until leaving in 2016 to found Doyle & Associates LLC.  

Dan has a wealth of litigation experience, but his specialty is worker’s compensation and work comp retaliation claims. He is widely known throughout the Kansas City area as one of the premiere work comp attorneys and is one of the only attorneys in Missouri that specializes in work comp retaliation cases—cases where an employer fires an employee for exercising rights under worker’s compensation laws. Dan has worked for both work comp insurance companies and injured employees during his extensive time litigating. In fact, Dan is the only attorney to ever have represented the Second Injury Fund—a state entity that assists injured workers suffering from both work-related and preexisting injuries—of both Missouri and Kansas. However, at Doyle & Associates LLC, Dan now focuses his practice primarily on representing employees. 

Dan’s experience working for insurance companies allows him to form complete, successful litigation strategies. He knows how insurance companies and big law firms try to control litigation. These strategies target injured employees and attempt to force settlement well below the real value of a case. Dan uses his experience and knowledge to counter these strategies and pursue the redress that injured employees deserve. Dan has had great success trying cases before circuit judges, juries, and work comp judges throughout Missouri and Kansas. This means that Dan is ready and able to pursue resolution of your claims even if it means going to trial; that is something not every lawyer is ready for and employers count on exploiting.

Dan is a long-time member of the Wyandotte County Bar Association. Dan served as the President of the Wyandotte County Bar Association in 2019, and he is a well-known presence in the areas that he serves with his practice.  Dan also served as the Chairman of the Wyandotte County Judicial Nominating Committee in 2019.

Dan is also admitted to the federal courts in the District of Kansas, Western District of Missouri, and Eastern District of Missouri.
