Noah D. Ballard lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife, Ashley, their two small children, William and Drew, and their beloved dog, Bleu. Noah earned his J.D. at the University of Missouri – Kansas City and is a proud member of the graduating class of 2017. While in law school, he was a member of the school’s Law, Technology, and Public Policy initiative led by Professor Anthony Luppino and Dean Ellen Suni.
While in school, Noah presented on topics at the intersection of law, technology, and public policy at events at UMKC, Code for America, The Kauffman Foundation, and the MIT Media Lab. Following graduation, Noah served as assistant to Professor Luppino and John Cummins as they built and developed the Legal Technology Laboratory which aims to provide technological intervention and solutions to improve access to legal services, processes, and justice in underserved communities. Noah also participated in the UMKC School of Law Solo and Small Firm Incubator.
Noah was hired by Doyle & Associates, LLC, in December 2019 and practices in the areas of employment discrimination and workers’ compensation matters litigating on behalf of plaintiffs in Missouri and Kansas.
Noah is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Western District of Missouri.
Noah was named a Rising Star for 2019-2022 by Super Lawyers (3 consecutive years!), classifying him as among the top 2.5% of attorneys nominated, all of whom are under 40 and have been practicing for less than 10 years. More information is available here (20-21) and here (21-22).
