About Robert
Robert A. Bruce is an Eastern Jackson County native. He grew up in Lee's Summit and still calls Eastern Jackson home today. He graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law, where he earned his J.D. magna cum laude. While in law school, Robert was a member of the UMKC National Moot Court Team. He was also a Managing Editor for The Urban Lawyer and a teaching assistant for the legal writing and research program. Upon graduating, Robert was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. This organization invites only a limited number of members from a graduating law school class to join, based upon demonstration of high-quality advocacy skills in both writing and oral argument.
Robert joined Doyle & Associates in 2017 as its first full-time associate attorney. Since joining the firm, Robert has had the opportunity to assist over 500 employees with various employment issues, including work-related injuries, incorrect pay classifications, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful discharge. Robert has had the opportunity to try cases to juries, judges, and administrative tribunals. He has also argued before the Missouri Supreme Court, the Kansas Court of Appeals, Missouri Court of Appeals, and Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission.
